I suddenly wanted to use my nintendo again after some time, and I was looking around my many things and I found my winter gloves and such. then I had the urge to record some footage of me playing on the device with gloves on, no concrete reason, just sort of thinking like a collage combining things together, thinking about the function of the glove, (mask?) a protection (flashing back to somebody I met the other day saying how wearing a mask feels like it dulls all the other senses and feeling like they cant do things properly, they were trying to put back some fancy wrapping paper back on the display shelf at the souvenir shop) thinking about the game, the extent of the control of the cute kirby character, the nature found in the game, trying desperately to explore every crevice in the level to find the sun stones etc, exploration and discovery, how every play is different, but the first play is the most impactful, the other repeated plays is just to go through it for that specific reason. its getting cold, its like winter, and its a concrete? (time) stamp of time passing, we really lived through the summer in lockdown.
I realised I'm more interested in the actual capturing of footage than editing/chopping it up (time sliced, lie) but I will get more into this in another post.
