herzog's film 'family romance, LCC' + mori art museum tour

I am thankful for social media - new films are in my ads and someone shares something valuable on their story. tonight I got both

I came across this ad from mubi on instagram, the trailer for Werner Herzog’s new film, Family Romance, LCC. Attached was a video essay that dives deeper into the really fascinating topic of artificiality and illusion in modern life, the blurred line between what’s real and what’s not - and if that’s important anymore. It’s, as the video states, what illusions are acceptable and which aren’t..

again thankful for things being shared on social media, I saw that mori art museum did an ig live English version of going around their exhibition. it was really good to see the exhibition as if we were walking through it and through this brief 15 minute guide I learnt quite a lot about these artists and was pleasantly surprised to see Hiroshi sugimoto in there as well, in the artist archive section on how they became who they were.
