recieving prints of the digital drawings

today I finally received the prints of the digital drawings - I wanted to see how the drawings would perform as a physical thing, and if the loss of the ability to zoom in takes away from the work. I was very pleased with how the prints turned out - the quality of this paper and mount (for one of them) is no joke - and I also chose different types of papers for each so I know what to choose next time - but I really loved the paper I chose for all of them - I can see clearly I chose the right one for the mounted one with a lot of dark blacks - this paper holds a lot of ink and really brings out rich colours. overall I'm really happy with these printed - even the lower quality collage - and I think I'm definitely doing more prints in the future (even if its a bit costly..) I am so impressed by this digital and printing technology....!

the print with the mainly pink background - the first drawing - I printed on this watercolour-paper-like paper, and I wanted to try it out because I think maybe there's a chance I could rework over this type of paper - and I think I could - but right now I felt it was too precious for me to touch it.. but I have to say the 'charcoal' brush on procreate, printed, really looks so much like real pencil it's impressive... as for the collage print, I really like the finish and how it, again, offers something that a digital image could never hold.
