writing workshop: 'Boxed'

I participated in the writing workshop hosted by zoë. I prepared with reading the material beforehand and thoroughly enjoyed that part, getting the context of the workshop - made it clearer to follow the tasks. It was overall a really fun and enjoyable experience and really provoked thought and envision my 'boxed' space in a new way. I also enjoyed the spontaneity in which the writing flowed out of the chat, bouncing off of each other's ideas etc. it made me realise how fun it is to write with others, especially with so many other people. I really liked the prompts that spoke to the context of 'boxed' and Joseph Cornell's assemblage work whilst being open to new horizons of these meanings.

zoë also said she might take what we collected in this session and make it into something? and there may be a possibility of another session where another person hosts, etc. Alicia said the tying to an artist's work was really great, and I agree, we should continue doing that. it seems everyone enjoyed it a lot, it was really fun.
