inspired by some of the cityscapes in the background of some of aya takano's paintings, I had the urge to collage together some of my cityscape pictures, and in this collage I used images I took from that exhibition of endangered animals in the nagoya city science museum, the taxidermy and the soft toy at the end of the exhibition, as well as a picture of a beautiful pathway (in the same trip) collaged in the building as well as an image on the voyager 'mountain climber' (which I like because it reminds
me of the painting Wanderer above the Sea of Fog. Really thinking of human exploration etc here.. I think I may attempt to paint it now? I think it might work better as a painting, some areas more abstracted than the others.
a few days later I actually started painting it but I realised I need to rethink how I'm going to paint this one, its in danger of looking dead..
