More on the Golden Record

/// so thinking back to adam young scores, and how he did ones for Voyager one - I researched more on that and I ended up looking at the Golden Record which is this disk that is attached to voyager one intended for extra terrestrials to look to when wondering about earth, so there are these earth sounds and images and this is fascinating because who determines what puts on there? there is this 'space artist''s work on there too, whatever that means, I'll look more into it... it's very strange.

as for the sounds of the earth, there's even one for trains... https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/assets/audio/golden-record/train.wav
and one named 'tame dog' and the other 'wild dog'....

all these snippets of earth... i don't know what to make of it.. and just reading these titles is intriguing as well, going back to Alice and the power of language.... i wonder if I can use these snippets in some way (avoiding copyright)

https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/golden-record/whats-on-the-record/greetings/ the greetings is really strange as well, with greetings, long and short spoken in different languages recorded... the one in English was a child's voice saying 'hello from the children of the earth.'

the behind the scenes/manufacturing of it is interesting too^^^  https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/golden-record/making-of-the-golden-record/
