We just got our MCP feedback this afternoon and surprisingly I got really great feedback! I did gain a huge amount from writing it as the comments said and that’s then best thing that can come from a piece of writing, I think, if it can also add to your studio practice. My interim was almost all inspired by the ideas from it - and my practice now, too. I can hardly imagine what I was doing before this. It’s very exciting realising a huge realm in the art world I’ve yet to dive in and experiment with - in the nature-culture dilemma. No doubt it’s going to be a big part of my practice from now on. A real turning point and I’m really thankful for everyone especially the tutors for even finding these ideas interesting. Don’t think it could have gone better - the struggles of wording and formatting churned out the essay in this form, for better or for worse. It came out the way it did and I’m proud of that outcome.
