I went to talk to the printing technicians about my idea with the postcards, and looked at their pricing and different types of paper. I didn't know if I wanted glossy or not, I didn't want to, but I realised some really cliché post cards in souvenir shops are glossy.. I guess it'll depend on the printing price.. anyway, I'm really impressed at how rich the colours can be on different types of paper.. definitely want to do a lot of digital printing in the future.
