parasite Q&A with director and actor

I went to a special screening of the film parasite - I knew it was going to be one of those rare films that you can call a masterpiece - those that don't leave you the way most films do. So I avoided all information about it before this night. The screening was special because they were broadcasting a live Q&A with director bong joon ho and actor song kang ho, across the UK in several cinemas. The turn out was great - the film won 177 awards so far, and will probably win more with the weekend to come. It really was best to go into the film without knowing much context, so you could experience it on the big screen - and this was definitely one of those films that really immerses you with the big screen. I can't even describe the film, I have no words. I was overwhelmed. The amount of times I thought something was profound or beautiful was absurd. The way the director played with conventional frameworks made a narrative that was unpredictable. The suspenseful parts could not have been executed better. Definitely a film to be digested over the years. Anyway, I picked a few highlights of the Q&A afterwards in these snaps, but I did record the whole thing and will look back on it for reference in the future:
