I was picking out some phrases I wrote in my notes in the past, and playing around with how I could read them differently. I liked this because of the simple contrast of the opposites, and how if you read down it becomes 'memories make me' which suggests the question of, am I only made up of my memories? who am I without my memories? etc. I also thought of the 'slogan' and looking at the bunny character I drew it reminded me a bit of clothing/apparel/streetwear. I am aware that the crossed eyes are kind of a cliché, like KAWS. but I've always loved that visually. it is sort of cute and dark and kitsch. anyway, I was picturing in my mind... printing this on something... I would love to digitally print things fast... I don't know if screen printing is the right thing... but, imagine I did a few of these phrases, some characters, printed them on t shirts, hung them up, and display them like any old clothing rack in your home. that would speak in another lens I think, something to do with the domestic... I'm not sure what I'm doing with this yet... but I'm liking the bracket thing, half separating the phrase but not really. something that you can read in breaks or without. nothing is definite...
