I found this picture of my sister lying on the bed we shared over the last summer, with the cat doll that we both have, and our real cat lying beside her. She would always force our cat to lie there when she has to lie there for bed time. It's quite funny actually. I didn't think much about this picture choice at the time, but now that I'm thinking about it I'm realising it's because I miss home. and kids grow up so fast. my cat grows fast too. so does my mum. time is relentlessly running ahead... how do I get ahead of time.. I can't. The reality is I have to spend time apart from my family, especially right now.
Also, I actually printed the dimensions wrong so, originally it wasn't this zoomed in. But I kind of like how big it is. Trinh said that Nelson told her that the face should never be this big and I felt really uncertain at that point but I already traced it on and, I just wanted to experiment so, I went ahead with it anyway.
