ideas surrounding the underwater...

A few months ago I saw that someone had posted this quote by john keats (romantic poet) on instagram and it has been on my mind ever since. I feel I could really feel the type of feeling he was referring to, and as I was also looking at bill viola's work the water reference connected perfectly as well. In my research of tracey emin I also found this work that resonated with this idea.

This whole lying-down-underwater thing seems very significant right now, especially when I saw this quote, then bill viola, and now tracey emin. (EVEN so far back to the film drowning love!)  feels like a full circle leading me somewhere... perhaps I could make some videowork or text work on this... I have a lot of footage from aquariums since I am terribly frightened of the deep waters. a lot of possibilities...
