I typed up some notes from books I chose for my initial research. I was still very lost and directionless (still am but very slightly less so now) because I was interested in so many things. I checked the fine art bibliography and got out some books from there, but when I went into the library I saw many many other interesting things too. so I just took out all I could. right now it seems I am leaning towards surrealism which is a huge topic, but maybe I can talk about collaging??????? I'll need to keep reading to narrow this essay down....
