He mentions 'finding the right place' and I realised how truthful that is - sometimes it's not about having an idea and then finding a place for it, it's about travelling and finding the PLACE that fuels that work. I think that is quite beautiful - it was quite eye-opening, really, I finally feel like there is a real reason for me to want to travel. I suddenly want to travel to places. and I very rarely have that feeling. the trip to marseille did help me see what travelling can unlock too. it is almost ironic because I've been travelling a lot in moving countries and living as a kid, I just want to settle in one place. now that I am an actual somewhat conscious adult, I feel more sensitive to the place I am in. things like seeing how light drenches a tree down the street or how buildings reflect off of each other. everyday things like that.
