I was feeling a little stuck but suddenly inspired after looking the photos from the childhood museum. Most of the toys there were creepy looking. I now want to paint from them, perhaps pair them with dialogue, but I am afraid that it'll fall into a cliché of 'scary dolls', it's so overdone.
I'll try it out anyway.
