on wednesday noon I went to a fancy cafe I wouldn't normally go to to meet up with friends I haven't seen in a long time. the thing about 'instagram worthy' cafes is that, they always have really pretty food. (well, it tasted really good too, but I wouldn't pay that much regularly for some pancakes and peanut butter drizzled on top, oh and the 'edible flowers') and I make fun of it but, it really is an art to successfully lure people in with how aesthetically pleasing your food is. The colours too, they were actually quite inspiring. I might actually take inspiration in these spring colours. they seem to sing 'life is always good and never bad, we're always having fun'. no dark colours, no darkness at all. just the happy.
