I've seen this illustrated book in bookshops multiple times over the summer, and I've been largely fascinated and pulled in by it. It is so simple, serene, everything I want my paintings to initially be (before it turns into chaos and noise) Perhaps I can take inspiration from some of lee's work. I realised, as I looked back on photos from 2016 when I first arrived in london, that I've been to an exhibition for illustrations and the work was amongst them.
