When I was in school in NZ I would take my camera and get random photos of people (I was probably extremely annoying). I'm not sure why I have so many photos of shoes and feet, perhaps I was always pointing it down. Looking back at these now they give a strange perspective of school life in a private girls school.
These two photos make me really sad. Even though I was not close to her, she was always extremely nice to be despite being one of the most popular girls. She was intelligent, funny, beautiful, warm and friendly to everyone she meets. After I left this school I hear over social media that she had passed from Meningitis, so rapidly. She only posted a photo of her on the hospital a few days before. Even from taiwan I felt the grief. I wasn't even close with this girl but I felt extremely sad that death and illness had taken someone away so fast and relentlessly. I still think about it to this day. I imagine I wouldn't be able to keep living if one of my family members passed.
