- Test shooting (2016): video work. unprofessional model. how he posed as a woman. undress. how he read sexuality.
- My half (2015): a lot of men out pictures of them half cropped with a woman, ironic finding another half.
- fifty/fifty (2013): tapestry. 6 months. find woman who got married from the site. the image: how she selected the man: she saw the man beside and car, all she needs. sound piece: conversation
- you can call him another man: artist residence in London: found box of film from father. printed. half of them before and after marriage. didn’t know the half before. play with idea of narrator. how much do we actually know from family albums/how much we trust this person? produce book. didn’t select ones with her. the images selected strange, stories imagine in photographs. no clue what is happening or why he took these images. takes ‘if in a winters night a traveller’ italo Calvino. exhibit: one of the collages boxes, not processed. wanna touch, wanna see what’s inside but you cannot. printed the images selected and people can come and put images in different layout. different collage. and signatures who contributed.
- Dream is wonderful, yet unclear (2017): always wanted to do video work. from industrial town. Soviet Union collapse. /// factory close, painful and long process for whole town, everyone fired. not just about her but woke community. her parents. their stories never being heard. people who go through these transitions. not focus on personal story but give voice for local community. radio newspaper, interview them and bring photographs and scan, so no originals, around 800, emotional for her, distant herself after gone abroad, totally part of it still. find ways how she could tell their story. growing up with it. project with 10 works in two years. residency in hometown. building part of it. cultural hub and she even took dance classes as a kid. Movie: the bright way. song became so popular. ‘Dream is wonderful, yet unclear’ propaganda; obviously our future is clear. so they changed it. work based on that movie. propaganda comedy like cinderella. one of the woman interviewed: why she came back to work in mills bc she watched that movie and want to dance around.
- dream is (un)clear: light installation. Un dark then light.
- cutbacks (2017): people and machines in that mill. found dusty damaged images. how the people felt abandoned.
- 12,000 (2017): one of the women brought a stamp. logo of the mill at the time. printed 12,000 stamps.
- group photo (2017): miss the sense of community, family. talk a lot of how young people now care about themselves. cut out people form group photo. can see it’s a part of a group images. leave white space. focus on individuals. sound of projectors resonate as the sound of mills when working there. some interviews printed on fabric, different stories.
- group photo.2017: call the old community. take group photo. background used to be the main entrance of it. photograph part of exhibition. most of the women came with their grandchildren and build relationship and conversation of their past.
- mapping my mother (2017-ongoing): used to be designer in mill. recreate some designs in stamp, in different walls. looking like maps. becomes travelling piece as deteriorates.
- failed rapport (1987/2017): mutual understanding or in textile design: pattern which repeats. created own pattern like mother when child. times when western, Disneyland arrived. created own heroes. printed the fabric and mother stitched skirt.

- working with found images - always try and hide their identity. if someone comes in and say that is me she is screwed. but took that risk and more about women representation. always about respect of the person rather than critical.
