experimenting with oil on watercolor/ink

I continued to work on a watercolor/ink painting from the psychogeography brief - not really aiming for anything in particular, I just had a feeling that it was unfinished. Also, I wanted to test out some stronger pigment on top of the watercolor - like gouache and oil color. Since I'm quite new and intimidated by oil, I really tried to take a risk with it and use solid colors instead of the usual watery mediums I use. It went pretty well - I added more bruises and marks on the abstract 'landscape' 'mountain' whatever it is - somewhere I drifted to in my imagination - added some creepy-cute bunnies in there too (I love cute / cartoonist paintings too & was experimenting with the more 'doodle' style and how far I can push it).

I rotated the painting around and realised that it sort of looked like a face - a very abstract, broken side profile if you could even call it that. I suddenly had the urge to paint upon that face I see. I connected the black background with the 'mountain' and it became hair, a lump became the close eye, the top of the 'mountain' became a tongue, rather suffocating the victim.
